Pressurized Liquid Extraction (PLE) Success Story - Organosolv

Our client commissioned a custom-made, 50-liter pressurized liquid extraction (PLE) machine that operated in continuous-flow mode at up to 2500 psi and 200 °C, with a flow rate of up to 1.5 L/min. The advantage of high-pressure operation is that, when pressurized, the process operating temperature can exceed the solvent’s boiling point at atmospheric pressure.
